Dr Jag Basra was first approached by me on behalf of the Irish FA in 2012 to deliver a presentation to professional players / coaches enrolled on the Irish FA's UEFA A Licence course, focusing on mental preparation and stress. Such was the success of this first presentation in highlighting and meeting the needs of players and coaches that Jag subsequently delivered a full Psychology program applicable to coaches at all the Irish FA's UEFA courses over the last 10 years. Topics ranged from stress management to the importance of sleep. UEFA highlighted Jag's innovative contribution to coach education in an article it published in UEFA Technician Magazine.
She is passionate about delivering her knowledge and expertise to both participants on coaching courses as well as to staff and players at various football clubs who have engaged her.
