The Benefit of QbCheck
Traditional ADHD measurement tools often rely on subjective input, which can lead to incomplete evaluations. Information from sources like school teachers might not capture the full range of symptoms an individual experiences, particularly when an individual masks their symptoms. That's why we've introduced the QbCheck assessment to complement our ADHD evaluations. This assessment is swift, objective, accurate, and incredibly thorough, providing a comprehensive view of ADHD symptoms.
The QbCheck assessment is a brief, 15–20-minute computerised test suitable for individuals aged 6 and above. Its foundation is built upon years of scientific research, rendering it a reliable and valid tool for detecting ADHD symptoms. Diverse Diagnostics proudly stands as the first private clinic in Scotland to offer the QbCheck assessment as part of our ADHD evaluation process.
How It Works
Following your initial ADHD assessment, we arrange an extra appointment for the QbCheck assessment. During this assessment, you'll engage with geometric shapes on a computer screen, while a webcam tracks your movements. Your privacy is important to us, and we want to assure you that the webcam only monitors movements without recording any video or audio.
Multidisciplinary Expertise
Our Enhanced ADHD Assessment is conducted by a skilled multidisciplinary team, consisting of Consultation Psychiatrists and Assistant Psychologists, dedicated to ensuring a comprehensive evaluation. We understand that every individual's experience with ADHD is unique, and our aim is to provide you with a personalised assessment that encompasses a full spectrum of information.
Understanding the Cost
Our Enhanced ADHD Assessment is priced at £1500 for children and £1350 for adults. This fee covers the entire process, including the QbCheck assessment, traditional diagnostic methods, and the expertise of our dedicated team.
It's important to note that QbCheck is only one part of our comprehensive assessment process. This assessment does not provide a diagnosis on its own; instead, it contributes valuable information when interpreted alongside other data like Conners rating scales and clinical interviews. At Diverse Diagnostics, we're committed to delivering accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
