At Diverse Diagnostics, we help make clinical care more accessible to everyone who needs it. We offer many different payment plan options like:

  • KLARNA: Where you can spread the cost over three months - interest free!
  • Payl8r: Through which you can spread the costs of your assessment into monthly payments subject to interest.
  • We also have our own pre-appointment payment plan that helps you pay the cost over the number of appointments you might have.

All of our ASD and ADHD assessments are led by specialist consultant psychiatrists. Our appointments take place online via Zoom and face-to-face.

Child Fees

Child Enhanced ADHD Assessment
(3 Appointments)

  • Clinical interview with child/family with Consultant Child Psychiatrist
  • Standardised questionnaires sent to school and family including school report
  • Feedback session with Child/Family with Consultant Child Psychiatrist
All assessments and reports for Child ADHD are completed within 4 weeks, pending that all information/questionnaires are returned within requested time frames.

Child Autism Assessment
(4 appointments)

  • Clinical interview with Consultant Child Psychiatrist
  • Standardised questionnaires sent to school and family
  • ADI-R
  • ADOS-2 (Completed Face to Face)
  • Feedback session with child/family with Consultant Child Psychiatrist
All ASD assessments and reports are completed within 8 weeks, pending that all information/questionnaires are returned within requested time frames. 

Child Autism
Screening

  • 1 hour clinical session with Child Consultant Psychiatrist
  • Will screen for Autism Spectrum disorder
  • Mental state completed
  • Report with recommendations if further evaluation of Autism is required

Child ADHD/Autism Combination Assessment
(5 Appointments)

  • Clinical interview with Consultant Child Psychiatrist
  • Standardised questionnaires sent to school and family
  • ADI- R
  • ADOS-2 (Completed Face to Face)
  • Feedback session with child/family with Consultant Child Psychiatrist
All ASD assessments and reports are completed within 8 weeks, pending that all information/questionnaires are returned on time.

Other Assessments

  • Clinical Interview with Adult/Child
  • Standardised Rating Scales, if Required (used as part of diagnosing Depression, Anxiety, Tics, OCD)
  • Feedback and Report for Family and GP
Depending on the diagnosis, patients may need more than one appointment as questionnaires are often needed to be completed after the first appointment, which will be discussed in the second appointment with the consultant before providing a final diagnosis.

Medication

Please note that medication in separate from the assessment.

The initiation appointment is a 45 minute appointment with a Consultant Psychiatrist.

The Medication Review appointment is 30 minutes long.

Private
Prescription

  • This private prescription fee is included in the appointment cost.
*We require a €350 non-refundable deposit at the time of booking. Additional consultations, if needed, are charged at €195 per half hour.

Additional appointments or extended consultations charged separately. You will be informed in advance if an extra appointment is needed.

FAQs

No, the assessment is a separate process than the medication process. The medication process is discussed with the consultant psychiatrist in the medication initiation appointment.

A private prescription is included in the cost of the medication appointments.

It generally takes 3-4 medication reviews before the dosage is stable but every individual is different and for some this may take more or less reviews.

Prescriptions are sent electronically to a pharmacy of your choice at the time of your medication review.

Yes we do absolutely accept shared care but it is the patients responsibility to speak to their GP and ensure it would be accepted.

Diverse Diagnostics writes private prescriptions for patients if this is required. If the GP agrees shared care we are able to move patients from private prescriptions to shared care.

Shared care means that the patients GP will write the prescription but the patient will still need to be reviewed at regular intervals with the clinical team at Diverse Diagnostics
